Health Care

Health care facilities include six hospitals, (over 800 beds) and other medicine facilities for urgent-care and drop-in clinics. Other related health facilities in Niagara include the Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre (124 beds) and the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital (Grimsby).

Education

Niagara College and Brock University offer full and part-time studies at multiple campuses located in St. Catharines, Welland, Thorold and Niagara-on-the-Lake.  Other publicly-funded post-secondary institutions are also located throughout the area.

Child Care

Over 200 licensed Child Care and Home Care Centres offer you many options for care for from newborn to 6 year-old children. By September 2012, over 60 public, catholic and French schools will over full-day learning for 4 and 5 year olds.
